NIH Launches a United Ecosystem for Big Data

Biomedical Computational Review has reported on NIH launch of their united ecosystem for Big Data. Katharine Miller reports that last year, under the leadership of Francis Collins, MD, PhD, the NIH stepped up to take on that challenge by announcing the Big Data to Knowledge (BD2K) program, a wide-ranging plan to enhance biomedical researchers’ ability to make effective use of big data.
